Newsham Housing Development

A small housing development designed by Matt Ball, located in a rural village in North Yorkshire. The brief was to create three generous family homes: one for the client, one for parents, and a third for sale to generate income.

The design is sensitive to the village vernacular and countryside setting, using varied ridge heights and proportions to create a balanced housing mix. The scheme supports multi-generational living, delivering adaptable homes that integrate naturally into their rural context.
